I’m an eAmbassador for Glendon Campus, York University. That basically means that I have the coolest job in the world; I get to tell the world what it’s like to study here from my point of view, and I get to work with some of the kindest and most talented people I’ve ever met. (You can find them all here.)
Right now my major is Linguistics and Language studies, but if I haven’t had ten majors by the time I graduate then I am not the indecisive person I know myself to be.
Stories are my everything. I love books, and cartoons, and comics, and podcasts, and movies, and…well, you get the point.
I’m a perpetually sleepy daydreamer, taking life one day at a time, always running late with a tea in hand (and most likely also spilled all over my outfit). I’m quiet, but I love to listen. When I do speak, I speak too fast, stumbling over words and laughing at jokes before I finish them.
I love meeting new people, the way punk music makes me feel, and sitting in coffee shops with friends. I live in run-on sentences, and defying grammar rules, in case you couldn’t tell. I also like lists.
I claim to be a writer and a poet but that just means that I spend a lot of time staring at blank word documents and scrawling pretentious rhymes onto notebook pages.
And lastly; I appreciate you, -yes, you!- because you’re spending your precious time readin’ my little ol’ blog.
Thank you for that. It means the world.
